The Top50jrTour receives Special Award
The Michigan PGA recently awarded the Midwest Top50jrTour with the prestigious “Junior Golf Leader Award.” The award is present each year to the PGA Golf Professional that has dedicated their time and energies to promoting the game of golf through junior golf activities. PGA Golf Professional Daniel J. Thomas says, “We are very proud that the Michigan PGA has recognized the Top50jrTour as a leader in Junior Golf. This award belongs to all the PGA Golf Professionals and Tour Directors that have assisted in the development and growth of the program.”

In an effort to assist students and parents with the costs associated with participating in summer golf activities, the National Golf Scholarship Association is providing students with a fundraising opportunity that could pay for all your junior golf tournament entry fees, including any junior golf tournament in any junior golf program.

2008 The G.R.I.P. Golf Academy
The Golfers' Rapid Improvement Program is designed to improve
a student's golfing ability more rapidly than conventional
golf lesson programs. Enrollment begins December 2007.
2006 Michigan Top50rjTour Broadcasts State Championship
The SYNTEL Michigan Top50jrTour State Championship at Flushing
Valley Country Club was televised to over 1.3 million homes
in three states.
2006 Top50jrTour Expands to Central
Michigan
Strong interest from students all over Michigan has made
the choice to expand easy. Now with 3 TourZones in Michigan,
the Top50jrTour hosts over 60 student golf tournaments
annually and offers Michigan student golfers more playing opportunities
than any other student golf program.
2006 NGSA Offer Top50jrTour Members Free
Golf Lessons
Free Golf Lessons for Top50jrTour student members every weekend
in the month of February. Over 100 student participated at
four different locations in Michigan.
2005 Top50jrTour Expands to West Michigan
There's been strong interest from students in West Michigan,
so the choice to expand was natural. The new Tour Director
for the West Michigan Top50jrTour is PGA Golf Professional
Jeff Miller.
2005 GRIP Junior Golf Academy
A new program introduced by the NGSA provides junior golfers
with a unique learning experience at Oasis Golf Center
and Fox Hills Golf Club. Golfer's Rapid Improvement
Program offers students another approach to learn the game of golf.
2004 NGSA Free Coach's Clinic
Saturday, December 6, 2003 the NGSA along with Oasis Golf
Center sponsored the First Annual Coach's Clinic at Oasis
Golf Center in Plymouth, Michigan.
