Treetops Resort is once again the host of the 15th annual Midwest Junior Championship.  Each year some of the best student golfers in the region come to Northern Michigan to participate in this championship, making this event one of the largest events of the year.  The MJC is open to all junior golfers ages 7 to 18.

Midwest Junior Championship Details (July 7-8, 2018) 

FRIDAY July 6, 2018
Students may check in starting Friday between (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM). 

Big Break Skills Contests "Big Time Fun" (1:00 PM - 6:00 PM) Scholarship Points Awarded, Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, Chipping & Putting Contests
Parent/Child ThreeTops Challenge (Tee times between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM). There is plenty of time for student to participate in both the Skills Contest and the Parent/Child Par 3 Challenge.  Casual dining available throughout the evening.

FIREWORKS on the top of the hill at Treetops!  Fantastic show for the whole family!

2018 Top50 Midwest Junior Championship - First Round  (7:30 AM – 10:30 AM)Tee Times - #1 Tee
First round of the 36 hole championship is on the SMITH TRADITION.

We encourage caddies; please have your caddie wear a white golf shirt and tan shorts or pants.  Caddies will wear a caddie bib with the sponsor’s name just as they do on the PGA Tour.

2018 Top50jrTour Awards Dinner & Gathering (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM) Casual Golf Attire

No Cost for players, $25 for guests. Members, parents, family and friends are all welcome to attend.  You must pre-register

SUNDAY JULY 8, 2018

2018 Top50 Midwest Junior Championship - Second Round  (7:30 AM – 10:30 AM)Tee Times - #1 Tee
Second round of the 36 hole championship is on the SMITH TRADITION.

All players play 36 holes, there is no cut. (7-11 age division play 9 holes each day).  Awards presentations will follow the completion of play for each division.  Although not mandatory, all students, parents and guests are encouraged to remain at Treetops Resort after they complete their round and become a spectator and provide encouragement to the remaining players as they complete their rounds.
